The Importance Of Hiring A Business Coach For Your Business

With everything that is going on in this challenging Alberta economy (bust in Oil and gas and then Covid) it is more important than ever to have a business coach for your small business. Someone that understands your struggles and may be able to provide you with a different perspective on things.  It is important to partner with a coach that not only understands but has lived entrepreneurship.  Has proven success as a business owner themselves.  Who better to partner with than another entrepreneur that has faced similar challenges as you?   Someone that has not only started a business but built a business over several years.  Don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions.  Know who you are partnering with.

According to a survey by the UPS Store, 70% of small businesses that received coaching survived more than five years – double the survival rate of non-mentored businesses. The same survey found that 88 percent of business owners with a coach said that having one was invaluable.

It has also been found (according to Future Preneur) that buying a pre-existing business had a survival rate after 5 years of 70% versus only 10% as a start-up. The 70% in a purchased business was largely due to keeping previous owner’s on for a period of time as business coaches to help with the transition.

Are you willing to risk it all without the help of a business coach for your business? Why jeopardize what is likely one of your riskiest ventures in life?
Statistics prove that having a business coach is good for business.
